Gonzalo Ruiz de Angulo is head of power, renewable and environmental BBVA structured finance Latam since April 2011. Gonzalo has over eight years experience in energy financing, especially focused in the renewable market, responsible for BBVA’s EMEA renewable project finance team during the last five years. During the last three years Gonzalo was involved in project financings for an overall investment of USD 8 billion.
Formerly Gonzalo worked in Enel Unión Fenosa Renovables (joint venture between Italian utility Enel and Spanish utility Unión Fenosa for Iberian area investments) for three years, also involved in renewable energy financings and M&A department. He acted as responsible of the financial department during the last 12 months.

Gonzalo holds a Bachelor’s of Business and Administration from the Universidad Complutense, Madrid.
